Fishing Boat at Ullapool Scotland is a scene I painted after a trip to Scotland. After leaving the Isle of Lewis, the ferry took us to a little fishing village called Ullapool. There were several really cool boats in the harbor!

While walking on Market Avenue one morning, the light cascaded through the garden gate of this Victorian Inn. It’s one of those places that you just want to linger on the porch with a cup of coffee before starting your day.

I was drawn to paint this scene of boats in a marina on location. The reflections of the little bright boats next to the larger boat in the water caught my attention in this painting. Location is Petoskey, Michigan.
